September in Bangkok brought days of continuous rain. With no particular plans, I spent a slow morning at Anantara Siam Bangkok — waking up, running a bath, making tea, and having breakfast at the hotel.

Joshua Pang is a Kuala Lumpur-based writer, editor and curator whose work explores places, people, culture and everyday life.
His writing spans travel, hospitality, dining, fashion, design and the arts, and has appeared in Chinese- and English-language publications across Malaysia, Hong Kong, Taiwan and Singapore.
